Engaging Fans with Early Access and Exclusive Merch

For the launch of a new animated series with a passionate online fanbase, we designed and built a website that seamlessly blended content marketing with e-commerce functionality. Originally produced independently as a pilot, the series gained a dedicated following before being fully produced by A24 and ultimately distributed by Amazon Prime. Our goal was to create a digital platform that captured the excitement of the series premiere while monetizing the enthusiasm of its fans.

The site allowed fans to preorder access to the first two episodes, offering them an exclusive opportunity to watch early via integration with the A24 App. Alongside this, we developed a custom merch store, where fans could purchase limited edition merchandise bundles tied to the series. This approach not only heightened engagement but also generated revenue ahead of the full series release.

After the series premiered on Amazon Prime, the website smoothly transitioned into a dedicated merchandise shop, continuing to cater to the fanbase with new product drops. By leveraging Shopify’s e-commerce capabilities, the site not only supported the series’ launch but also established a sustainable channel for ongoing fan engagement and sales.
